the following as a longtime solution for the food situation. THE CENTRE NEEDS URGENT ASSISTANCE FROM PEOPLE WILLING TO HELP.
If we can get funding of up to US$ 170,000, and be able to buy 20 acres land, have a tractor, 3 ton lorry, pick up truck and irrigation equipments such as water pump, pipes, sprinklers, and others, then our food situation will be solved and we will not need to worry about crop failures as result of little rainfall. I am therefore asking you to join us in prayers so that the Lord will lead some people or foundations to give us funding for the food production locally. It is possible we can buy land or lease for a period of time to grow food only if we have the right equipment.
As of now we are in need of us US$ 50,000 to clear the bills and also need monthly of US$ 39,000 for feeding and staff, remember that it costs US$ 1 daily to care for one child, that carries the cost of food, medication, clothing and general care. FOR THE 1500 ORPHANS AND THEIR FAMILIES THE CENTRE SPENDS US$ 1500 DAILY or US$ 45,000 per month.
Other areas of need are
- BALA MERCY HIGH SCHOOL, NEEDS US $ 200,000 FOR CLASSROOMS, DORMITORIES, ADMINSTRATION BLOCK, KITCHEN AND DINNING.
- THE VACATIONAL TRAINING NEEDS US$ 59,000.
- The best way to realise all these is by child sponship if you sponsor a child at US$1.00 per day and US$ 30. per month then when we have 1500 sponsors, we shall have realised most of the projects.
